Transformer pendant
We invite you to a master class on creating an exquisite transformable pendant made using bead weaving.
This piece of jewelry looks like a real designer piece .
In the center of the composition is a natural oval-shaped stone , braided with beads so that its reverse side remains open and preserves the natural beauty of the stone.
The composition is complemented by:
• Rivoli crystal
• decorative teardrop-shaped pendant
• beaded elements and beads
All elements are combined into a single harmonious composition, creating a spectacular decoration.
The unique feature of this master class is that you will create a transformable pendant that can be worn in different ways:
A set of a pendant and a string of beads;
The pendant can be a stand-alone decoration without a string of beads;
Crossbody decoration (when connecting all the elements together);
A string of beads can be used as a glasses holder;
What you will learn in the master class
At this master class, you will master several beading techniques, both classic and original.
You will learn:
• weave with beads on two needles (author's technique) , using the principle of mosaic weaving ;
• carefully weave natural stones , keeping the back side of the stone open ;
• connect braided elements together using the “mesh” technique;
• master the author’s decorative technique of connecting elements together “spider web” ;
• learn how to weave oval-shaped cabochons of different sizes ;
• learn how to braid Rivoli crystals (12mm or 14mm);
Learn how to decorate a braided stone with crystals or beads;
• create decorative beaded beads that are used in necklaces;
• learn to use a special extender to adjust the length of the jewelry.
As a result of the master class
You will create with your own hands a beautiful transformable pendant that can be worn in different ways.
Having mastered the proposed techniques, you will be able to independently:
• create pendants with natural stones
• braid cabochons of different sizes
• combine elements into complex compositions
• create your own designer jewelry
